Infantile neuropsychiatrist. Mental Coach of the Italian National Fencing, Sword, Silver at the Rio 2016 Olympics.

Winner of the "Alexander Bodini Fellowship" in 2007 at the Italian Academy for Advanced Studies of Columbia University in New York, from 2005 to 2009 he did research first at the National Institute of Mental Health in Bethesda, Washigton, DC and then at the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry of Columbia University.

He was the winner of the 2009 finalized research of the Ministry of Health in which he participated as a "principal investigator".

He is the author of numerous scientific publications in national and international journals and has been dealing with research and treatment of neurodevelopmental disorders and of the autism spectrum disorder in particular.

He recently published a book entitled "An autistic in family" published by Mondadori and a book "Psychiatric Symptoms and Comorbidities in Autism Spectrum Disorder" published by the international publisher "Springer".

He is the founder and president of the Aita Scientific Center, of the Progetto Aita Onlus association, and of the Accademia Scherma Lia. He is founder and member of the scientific committee of the Italian Association for Autism Research (AIRA).
